Can I say, Holy shit?! The cover of the album is very misleading, not
that I should be judging anything by the cover. First, look below at
the track listing. Read the names of the songs…read them again, ‘cause
I know you didn’t get many of them, and then think about the fact that
the longest track is 1-minute and 29-seconds long.
So, this album is flat out amazing. These three guys pull
off this music, amazingly, and keep in mind the drums are
programmed…and I would not have known if I didn’t read about the band
first. I also would have never picked this band to be from Long Island.
I was picturing more along the lines of Brazilian, or something over in
Europe. This wall of sound is brutal, as it should be! Their self
described sound is called vulgar-death-grind style. Frankly that
explains quite a bit for me. But I should tell you, that these guys
have put some very serious effort behind this project and have created
a hellatous masterpiece. The sounds they have come up with, the vocals
tearing your freakin’ head off, and a wall of energy that is very
unforgettable.
This 3-piece band consists of Mario Musumeci on vocals,
Marco Failla on guitars and programming, and Rodan Di Marie on bass,
has compiled this powerful string of songs and sound effects to make
for quite the listening experience! Take this project, plug it into
your system, crank it up, and then tell me how you feel after only half
an hour. If you are ready to listen to it again, then man, you got
stamina! If you are ready to sleep on it after one time through, and if
you feel exhausted by it, then good. You have completely experienced
something your brain may never forgive you for.
